WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I grew up in New York but I’ve been living in Montreal for a long time.
WHAT DID YOU STUDY?
Psychology. I helped many major charitable organizations on a volunteer basis. I always played a leadership role. Then I studied business on the job.
WHICH JOB?
After marrying and having several children, my husband died at the age of 35. I was destitute. It was either sink or swim. So I went into his business. Grew it and then sold it to marry a wealthy man in Montreal .
WHY DO YOU WORK?
I work because I want to improve the world one person, one family at a time. I don’t want people to suffer needlessly when I can help fix their financial affairs.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
After having a total of 7 children and 23 grandchildren, I got bored! I needed something to do. My nephew introduced me to an insurance company for which I worked as an agent.
THEN?
Then I met Leslie Machan Sr. He taught me all I know in this business. His approach to family financial health is unique. I’ve never seen anything like this. So I learned from him and I am practicing very successfully.

It’s all about people, not money. I really care about my clients first and foremost. Their personal lives, their relationships and of course their money. I stay in touch regularly. They become like family.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
I look a their complete family and financial picture. It’s a holistic approach. I make their money work for them and not them for their money. I show them how to let the government pay off their mortgage. I show them how to invest prudently and productively not recklessly. I show them how to pay less taxes. I show them how to give their money to their children instead of the government. I inform them about new laws and how they can affect them. I show them how to protect their family’s money no matter what happens.
YOU NEVER SEEM STRESSED OUT
I’m not. I love what I’m doing. I’m well organized. I have a great personal assistant. I’m doing the right thing.
YOU HAVE A FINE REPUTATION IN THE CITY. WHY?
I’m passionate about what I do. I do it efficiently. My way of handling the financial affairs of my clients is unique. I’m like a financial chef who does “haute cuisine”. I love educating my clients too. I love fighting for their rights and defending them. I love taking stress out of their lives.
WHAT IS SO UNIQUE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
It’s the way I handle things. I know how to solve financial problems. I maximize people’s money by reallocating it. I don’t like to waste money anywhere. I am well connected for finding ways of saving money and making money for my clients. I set things up so they never run out of money during their lives. I actually create wealth for my clients.
IN A NUTSHELL WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE?
Trust. It doesn’t matter how much or how little money you have. Or if you are young or old. I provide lifelong guidance. Clarity. Certainty. Security. Assurance. Continuity. Liquidity when necessary. Most of all, I provide peace of mind. People who work with me know that I will always be there for them, so will my team. I really make a difference in people’s lives…
